BOB CANTER - Town Manager of SmallBizVillage

Bob Canter's career has spanned for over 35 years in all facets of the commercial real estate industry. He has been involved in thousands of transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars for national and multi-national corporations as well as many regional and local businesses of all sizes. Bob has worked in every discipline of the commercial industry and knows all sides of any commercial transaction.

He has always given the small business owners the attention and respect they deserve and will pay more attention to their needs than the large real estate companies who just want to manufacture deals. Bob not only assists small companies find their space, he also educates them along the way. Bob is driven to educate his clients and is never too busy to answer questions.

Prior to starting CA Commercial Realty Partners and Performance Realty Solutions, Bob was the Sales Training Director and in-house commercial real estate expert for Costar Group, Inc., the leading web based commercial real estate property information resource. Throughout his career Bob has managed numerous sales offices and commercial real estate agents and always produced positive results.

He was instrumental in the Investment Portfolio Sale of 1.75 Million Square Feet for $105 Million in New Jersey to a public Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). He also managed a 1.7 million square foot mixed use commercial development that housed many companies of various sizes.

Bob's knowledge and experience has been recognized by the Maryland and Washington DC Real Estate Commissions. Bob created and instructed commercial real estate continuing education courses through GCAAR (Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors www.GCAAR.com) as another way of educating the brokerage community.

Because of Bob's experience in all facets of the industry he knows not just how to put a deal together, but also the process and all the parties involved in each transaction.
